Flotilla Attack : Security Council lame and hypocritical

The United Nations Security Council statement was lame and hypocritical, succumbing to US pressure to protect its ally Israel. It showed that there were always double standards in dealing with international issues, even when the perpetrator is so obvious in this case. Israel got away with only a slap on the wrist ~ and not even its own wrist.

This shows that the so-called "international community" is only barks with no bit. Thus more should be done by the civic "international community" of activists rather than states, just as what had been done against the Apartheid regime before. Justice must prevail before interests.
