The Israeli military has closed an investigation into claims that Israeli troops shot unarmed Palestinian women and children during its 22-day war on Gaza.

Comment from Molly, Australia : Why does the decision by the Israeli military to close an investigation into alleged war crimes not surprise me? The military investigates the military, always, in Israel and in its backer, the US, whenever these two countries commit war crimes. Always an absolution of themselves and too gutless to face the truth of war crimes committed by so-called civilised nations. What absolute hypocrisy! Trouble for Israel is that it shot itself in the foot with its recent slaughter in Gaza.
