Beijing tutup 60,000 laman web lucah

BEIJING: Kerajaan China sehingga semalam sudah menutup lebih 60,000 laman web pornografi sebagai sebahagian usaha membanteras kandungan bahan lucah dalam atas talian. 

“Sehingga akhir November, kami sudah memeriksa 1.8 juta laman web dan menutup lebih 60,000 laman web yang menyebarkan bahan lucah,” kata menteri di pejabat akhbar Kabinet China, Wang Chen. Pada masa sama, katanya, 58 orang sudah dipenjarakan sekurang-kurangnya lima tahun dalam usaha membanteras penyebaran kandungan bahan lucah di laman web dan telefon bimbit yang dilancarkan sejak Disember tahun lalu. China yang mempunyai pelayar Internet terbesar di dunia dengan 450 juta pengguna juga melaksanakan sistem penapisan paling ketat yang dikenali sebagai ‘Great Firewall of China’. – AFP

China has shut down more than 60,000 pornographic websites this year and arrested 5,000 people as it steps up a campaign against obscene material.

Beijing has run a highly publicised drive against lewd online content which it claims is overwhelming the country's internet and mobile phones and threatening the emotional health of children…

Ulasan: Negara kita pun wajar mengikut apa yang baik yang telah dilakukan oleh Kerajaan Komunis China. Ajem memberi komen yang baik seperti berikut: Negara China belajar daripada kesilapan lampau apabila mereka tewas dalam 'perang candu'. Candu digunakan oleh pihak musuh untuk melalaikan rakyat selain memberi banyak impak negatif yang lain. Jika diamati disini mereka telah berwaspada dalam perkara kecil kerana kesedaran mereka yang berada pada tahap tinggi. Walaupun pemerintah bukan Islam tetapi tindakan mereka sedikit sebanyak selari dengan seruan Islam. Fantastic China, well done. We don't need to watch porn which corrupts minds, to have a good sex life. It is time the west woke up and recognised what is immoral.

Living in the U.S. under the protections of the 1st Amendment, censorship in relation to pornography is a tough issue. But just as we are not allowed to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater, I think it is time to place pornography in the same category of unacceptable speech where the internet is concerned. Therefore, I say kudos to China and may the U.S. follow with the same actions against internet pornography.

GOOD..lets shut them all down. It would make a nice change if this country put the child's welfare as a high priority.

Well done to The Chinese Government , now lets see what other country has the courage to follow through . The Porn sites are detrimental to childrens / adults state of mind .
