Nazri confirms MACC quizzed Nazim Razak, Deepak Jaikishan

By Shazwan Mustafa Kamal
KUALA LUMPUR, April 12 — Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz (pic, centre seated) confirmed today that two key witnesses involved in private investigator P.Balasubramaniam’s first sworn testimony in the Altantuya murder had been interrogated.
Mohammad Nazim Razak, the younger brother of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Deepak Jaikishan were alleged to have made Bala withdraw his first sworn testimony regarding the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu, who was killed in 2006.
Bala, whose current whereabouts are unknown, had accused the prime minister of being involved in the murder of the Mongolian model only to retract his statement with a second sworn testimony.
“Yes, yes, it’s done already,” said Nazri to reporters at the Parliament lobby when asked whether the MACC had interrogated the two individuals. He however refused to elaborate further.
The Minister in the Prime Minister’s abrupt response came as a surprise after he refused to answer Batu MP Chua Tian Chang question in parliament earlier.
During question time, Chua, who is PKR strategic director, had asked the law minister on the developments regarding Balasubramaniam’s whereabouts and willingness to cooperate in MACC’s investigation.
“What is the status of the case? We are informed the investigations on the affidavit have been completed and been submitted to the Attorney-General’s chambers,” said Chua.
In a written reply, Nazri informed Parliament that the case was still open and investigations are at a standstill because the MACC is unable to secure a testimony from Balasubramaniam…Malaysian insider

Disclosing this during a press conference in the parliament lobby today, Mohd Nazri said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had questioned Datuk Mohammad Nazim Razak and businessman Deepak Jaikishan who were implicated in Balasubramaniam's SD last year.
"We have (interrogated Mohammad Nazim and Deepak). That's it," he said when asked for confirmation…Sun2surf
Ulasan: Eloklah cari segera Bala ini kerana rakyat 1Malaysia pun hendakkan nama PM kami di bersihkan melalui mahkamah adil. Eloklah Menteri Dalam Negeri memberi jaminan supaya Bala bebas balik dan beri keterangannya. Kes melibatkan abang, kenapa pula adik dan kawan masuk campur?
