5-0 : Incredible! Fantastic! Ridiculous!

Incredible! Fantastic! Ridiculous!
Selena Tay

The writer is a football fan. Sometimes it happens that the referee is biased when he awards an unwarranted number of free kicks and dubious penalties to the opponents.

This happens in football and it is common to hear of football fans grumbling and cursing at the result and the way that their team lost by referring to the referee as the 12th player for the opposing team.

The recent verdict of the MB versus MB case is just such a ridiculous result!

What was incredible was the score of 5-0 in favour of the illegitimate state government. The writer thought the score would be 3-2 or 4-1 in favour of the power grabbers but 5-0 is an absolutely ridiculous score.

This just goes to show that it was not even close. In football, we fans would say ‘it is a stupid result and the referee cheated or is on the take’.

This is a clear indication that the judiciary condones illegal power grabbing and is instrumental in installing an illegitimate state government! This is really incredible! Malaysia memang boleh! Anything goes!

Where is the KPI for justice, Najib?

What with the missing jet engines reported to be found in Uruguay (this really takes the cake), the attack on religious houses of worship, Nasir Safar’s racist statements and now this ridiculous verdict on the MB case, Malaysia is on the way to becoming a 4th world nation, a joke nation.

The writer, in an article in an opposition paper last year wrote that the power of the Courts was being used to grab seats, but this year it is much worst as the power of the Courts is being used to grab a whole State, mind you!

In any country in the world, there is no rule of law if the Courts have been utilized as a tool of those who are in power.

In a recent forum entitled ‘Where is the KPI for justice, Mr Najib?’ held in the KL Chinese Assembly Hall on 21st January 2010, it was highlighted that there was no KPI for justice although the BN Government has 1,001 other KPIs for other portfolios.

This clearly shows that for Najib, justice does not exist in his dictionary or in his life. Everything is just empty rhetoric and a great illusion!

The writer hopes and prays that the other ongoing court case that involves an opposition leader will be conducted in a fair and just manner as we absolutely cannot afford anymore dubious court decisions!
